W & J Sloans: Butchers
In 1898 William Sloan founded W. Sloan Butcher in Dumbarton East. In 1995, the owner Derek opened W & J Sloan's current store in Alexandria almost 100 years after the original store's opening. Nearly 30 years on, Derek is still running this local butcher, going from strength to strength, suppling meat to the locals in Alexandria and surrounding areas. He works with Hugh, a skilled butcher who has been with the company for many years.

Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday: 9 am to 12.30 pm / 2 pm to 5 pm
Wednesday: 9 am to 12.30 pm / 2 pm to 5 pm
Thursday - Friday: 9 am - 5 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 3 pm
Sunday: CLOSED
Our regular home delivery times are Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 7 pm and 9 pm and Saturday afternoon between 3 pm and 5 pm. Contact us for more details.
