Special acknowledgement and thanks to Central Alexandria Tenants & Residents Association (CATRA) for their hard work to provide some Christmas trees around the town. ALEXANDRIA CC UPDATE – JANUARY 2025. It is now over 2 years since our re-establishment as a Community Council which covers the town area of Alexandria.
More residents are being given the chance to tend to their own garden space after a new allotment site opened.

Armistice Day, also known as Remembrance Day, marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.
All sections of the Company, including the Colour Parties, joined other youth groups and school groups as part of the Vale of Leven Remembrance Association parade and service at Christie Park Cenotaph in Alexandria.
