Pupils and families at Christie Park Primary
Pupils and families at Christie Park Primary have taken part in a sponsored slosh for school funds raising hundreds of pounds in the process.
More than 215 pupils and families learned the dance at part of the curriculum and gathered in the playground to showcase their dance moves.
Pupils learned the dance in their classes and at home ready for this big event.
Margaret McLeod, Head Teacher, said: “Our children and their families have worked hard to learn the dance and all their efforts were so pleasing to see today. It’s been a really fun activity and one that the whole school, parents and carers and extended families have embraced. I would like to thank everyone for generously sponsoring our pupils and the money raised will be used to support all children in the school.”
