Christie Park Cenotaph on Remembrance Day
Proud pupils from Christie Park Primary School visited the Christie Park Cenotaph to plant their handmade poppies in respect of this year’s Remembrance Day.
Pupils from the school choir also took part in the Remembrance Parade yesterday leading the singing at the service with the Hymn Abide With Me and following the service at Christie Park entertained veterans, families and friends at the Boy’s Brigade Hall singing a range of songs including Kiss Me goodnight; It’s a Logn Way to Tipperary and We’ll Meet Again.
